"We wanted to like this place because our friend recommended them but we just can't. We had so many issues from the quote online not matching what was said and no way to fix it, to being hounded over a stupid beacon thing for the Drive Safe program (it was NOT our fault, the first beacon was lost, and the second one came broken) and then a HUGE increase in our premium at renewal even though we have never been in accidents/have tickets ect. I guess they explained that it was because parts for our car went up, but why was I able to go back our old company (actually I got quotes from an insurance broker and they were all way cheaper than SF) and get back at the quote I started with? I thought it would be nice to have an agent that we could talk with in town when we needed help, but our old agent never gave me these kind of untrustworthy vibes. We only tried SF because they were closer, not cheaper. This was an awful first experience and I'm not sure we'll ever try SF again."
